Finally, we get a real snow down here in the valley. I came out of my office at 2:00 AM this morning to find the city enveloped in snow - and it was still coming down. There was hardly a track in any of it.
So quiet.
I still love this.

Tom these photos are great to see. Thanks for posting them. I had almost forgotten that feeling of leaving a familiar environment and reemerging to find it covered and changed. In San Francisco the only things I run the risk of finding more of on the ground are leaves or litter. Neither of which have as much impact as a fresh white blanket of snow.
